As Orthodox Christians we are rooted in the Early Church

The American Orthodox Catholic Church

American

With a patriotic and grateful heart do we give thanks to our Heavenly Father for establishing our grand and glorious country for His purpose. We walk in liberty through Christ Jesus in the Land Of The Free. From sea to shining sea does his glory abound, and through the majesty of his bounty we are provided for. We are endowed by our Creator and King of Glory the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We are proud citizens and residents of God's country.

Orthodox

Orthodoxy is defined as original and right teaching. The Orthodox Church is the first established Christian Church, dating back to the Apostles. The first church was called "The Way" as in the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The structure and flow of Orthodox Christian Worship Services are modeled after that of the first and original church's services. Full of life, sound biblical teaching, joy and the Holy Spirit.

Catholic

The original meaning of the word catholic is "universal" as in "universal teaching". The application of this definition was originally given and accepted by all Early Christians in the fact that when you are saved and born again through The New Birth Process by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and washed in The Blood of The Lamb, you are now a part of the universal church and members of the Body of Christ Jesus, who is the head of the church. We, as a congregation of Orthodox Christians are in continuity with the original church where we are not referring to the word catholic as a particular church, denomination, rite, or communion but an adherence to the universal teaching of living for and following Jesus Christ, our liberator and best friend.

Church

As Jesus is the head of the church, we the children of God comprise the body. And as a body has many parts but is one body, so we the church have many members, yet all one body. Unified in Kingdom principles and love, when one member suffers, all the members suffer with it, or if one member is honored, all of the members rejoice with it. The church of God The Father is structurized in abounding unity of heart and mind, declaring the One Gospel and its righteous principles throughout the whole Earth. The church builds you up and everyone has a place in it. In this organism we as members all together constitute and make up the church of God on Earth, and as vessels of honor The Lord Jesus works through us accomplishing the will of The Heavenly Father, and we are held in cohesion and unity by The Holy Spirit.
